The five digit room number sytem

In the chemistry building the rooms are generally numbered with 5 digits figures.
The first digit indicates the level you´re on. The basement starting with the number one, the ground
floor with the number two and so on ....
The second digit shows the area of the building in which the room is situated. Each specific area within
the building has its own coloured numbers and doors etc..

CH1: dark green
CH2: bright green
CH3: yellow
CH6: orange
CH7: purple

The third digit indicates the compass direction, beginning at east with 1 and following up an
anticlockwise pattern.

The last two digits increase successively along each coloured area.

Example:
Room 26 402 is on the ground floor in area CH6
(orange) going south.
