Proof reading service

he TUM-GS made contracts with the companies Kern and Crimson Interactive-Enago, that now would be glad to receive your almost ready manuscripts and polish the English in there. The TUM-GS coveres the cost for 2 proof readings per doctorate member. More informations can be found at the TUM-GS webpage: http://www.gs.tum.de/en/doctoral-candidates/publishing/

As mentioned there the following conditions have to be fulfilled:
-TUM Graduate School membership
- the person who asks for the service has to be the first or main author of the publication
- the manuscript should be ready according to the content, so only language issues may need revision
- the publication is about to be submited to an international (peer-reviewed) journal or a conference proceeding 

How you claim for the proof reading service?
Finsh your manuscript to be almost ready for submission.
Discuss it with your advisor.
Please mail the article designated for the service to the Departmental Graduate Center (fgz.chemie@ch.tum.de).
Tell us where your paper should be published and which of the two companies should do the job for the English polishing. In case of KERN, a special form has to be filled out. This is available here for download.

After approval of the prerequistes have been met, we send it to the company of choice with your contact data. We also inform you and add it into our database. The proof reader sends the revised manuscript directly to the author / member. Please appove the suggested changes and corrections and finally integrate it in your text. After the service you will receive an invitation for the evaluation system Evasys. Please fill in the online form and submit it.
